PGDiploma students in the Faculty of Education engaged in a four day workshop which facilitated them to identify, assess and evaluate how best to embed Development Education (DE) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) issues and concepts into the Art, Craft and Design syllabus. The student teachers worked collaboratively to create a body of work that demonstrated an informed and creative visual exploration of various issues relating to the umbrella theme of Changing landscapes. The student teachers examined a broad range of human development issues and environmental concerns through a variety of art practices. Issues focused on themes of Human Dignity, Gender Equality, Intergenerational Justice, Stewardship and Globalisation.

A selection of images from the workshop can be viewed HERE shortly.
